Yesterday I was inspired by one of our members who wondered if it might be a good idea, especially with the Credit Crunch to use Gems and vouchers to give as presents to our friends and family.

If you are willing to give your skills and services, jams, chutneys, home made biscuits, cards, spices, any excess teas, coffees,chocolates, cakes, sweets, pampering treatments etc so that non Skills exchange members (friends and family of SE) can benefit and possibly be introduced to the Skills Exchange and its benefits, please put your name on the gift list with what you are willing to contribute (www.skillsexchange.blogspot.com) tab at the bottom: "gift list "

Also you could make a pretty little voucher as a token for giving a skill (that you bought from another member with your gem) such as lift to the airport, pampering treatment, gardening, anything we have on our list really.

If anyone feels artistic, inspired, willing and able to design a voucher for the non artistic, inspired amongst us, feel free to do so!
