We had a bit of a change around in our house and my son got his first own room. All was well but the current bamboo roller blind woke him up very early. Although he was delighted with his new room he asked if one day he could get a proper blind.
Whilst Michael was away for a week, Dianne Marsh came up trumps. She took the old rollerblind stripped it from the bits and pieces to make it work and turned it into a wonderful venetian blind. She used some 'dark out' material given by Martha and some material I had left over from some upholstery. For 4 Gems she made a really professional job. In the end Dianne preferred to receive 3 gems and 1/2 dozen of fresh free range eggs!
I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank you for making Michael so happy and giving him a real good sleep in!
