'Do you want to actually succeed with your New Years resolutions this year?

I am considering setting up a mini group for skills exchange people and want to gauge interest levels.

The idea would be to have 4 or so sessions (1-2 hours, evenings at a time to suit those interested). One would be before New Year to set and agree goals and then to have a session a month up to Easter to report back to the Group on progress - to celebrate successes and figure out ways to get past blocks.

The sessions would be relaxed, informal and fun (include coffee/wine?) and be based in the conservatory at our house. I am a qualified life coach and would facilitate the sessions using coaching ideas/practices.

People often have great intentions with New Years resolutions but become unstuck because either the goals were not achievable (too ambitious, too vague etc.) or when reality hits in the New Year it is easier to let those good ideas slip away. These sessions hence are designed to set you up up for success and use the safe and friendly banter of a group to provide the accountability to encourage you to do what you want to do.
