I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Karina, Richard, Debbie and Karl who have made a superb job of laying the hawthorn hedge at the rear of our garden. The way in which everyone worked as a team, with Indians apleanty as well as Chiefs and chiefs advisors has meant that within two hours we had gone from having a rather vulnerable easy access back hedge to now having a well laid impenetrable barrier. What is more we have now got some ideal cover for wild life, with little thickets of shrubbery where before there was just old dead wood and rubbish. The whole area also looked much more cared for from the Green Line and I am confident that within a few weeks the new shoots will be sprouting away merrily. The whole exercise has proved to be a much better a solution than putting up a fence or barbed wire, and it has the added advantage of encouraging new growth and cover for wildlife in general.
