The thirteen year old daughter of our Italian friends spent one week of her three months' holidays (!) with us here in Engand. Since we did a lot of sightseeing and other activities like swimming, playing tennis, going ice-skating etc. I thought it would be nice being able to come home and have a nice meal on the table without the trouble of preparing it myself. So I asked Carol (who I know to be a very good cook) if she wanted to cook something for us. She wanted to earn a few gems anyway, and therefore offered to serve us twice that week. Carol did the shopping made a fantastic coq au vin and a pudding as well as a fish pie, all this for 3 gems (and the cost of the food) We all enjoyed the meals which were lovely, and I personally enjoyed not having had the trouble of going shopping and getting dinner ready when I was already a bit tired from the day's activities.
