After years of being able to roam the full garden and mess up all the flower beds, we decided to reign in our hens. All was well during the summer but recently their muddy pen looked a bit depressing, especially with wonderful green grass at the other side of the fence.

I decided that I wanted a chicken coop that was easy to store once not in use. I phoned Alex who immediately started investigating and thinking of practical ways on how to do this.
Paper models were made as prototypes, then materials were bought and within 4 hours a fantastic coop was designed and made for the three girls.

Alex did a great job, not only is it good for hens but I can imagine it is perfect for guinea pigs etc as well. See for yourselves:
