For the first time in a many years have we managed to get terrential rain without having flooding!
Last week I sent out a group email to find out if anyone has any drain rods. I can tell you that we are well served and that at least 6 people told me that they could help.

It was Steve M, however who reacted within 30minutes and offered to come around straight away as the forecast for the days ahead was not good. It was great timing as both Tom and Michael were home and got a course in draining cleaning all for 1 gem (well, I ordered 3 lovely french tarts for Steve instead)

It was a fantastic skills exchange action, no more flooding, 2 boys set up for life on how to clean drains with drain rods, Steve had some tasty tarts and Jelena a gem to do something nice with too. all in all a great day.
