Skills Exchange people have helped me in lots of ways before and after moving house. At the old house Zena helped me tidy up the garden which I had neither the time nor energy to do and Paul replaced a broken pane of glass (not as straightforward as he had hoped but he stayed remarkably good humoured despite working in a room at the top of the house which was really hot back in July!). At the new house the skills of Simon and Paul (plumber and electrician) have been invaluable and I took up Mark's skill of 'heavy manual work/digging' as well - he dug over the back border of my garden which included digging out lots of roots from some rampant growing vine! I've earned a few gems along the way but now need to earn some more! Look forward to meeting more of you.
