Hi all,

We are going away for a week and are looking for someone to look after our friendly cat, Max. As well as feeding him he likes some attention so it would be great if you could stay for up to an hour to spend some time with him. Sometimes he likes to be actively stroked and may sit on your lap but often he just likes to be near people so it may be that he sits next to you while you read the paper (although he will want to sit on the section that you want to read!) or a book!! Thank you for everyone who has responded - this was possibly a record with I think 9 offers so far! Everyone sent kind e-mails which was fantastic but did give me the problem of trying to decide who to go with! In the end I thought the first person to respond was the fairest!
