Saturday

Spring is in the air and I felt it was time to take stock of my wardrobe. As the majority of my clothes are branded; Cancer Research, The Hospice Shop, Oxfam and Age Concern, there was a need to go and have a look at their new collection but I was very much out of the loop on what was 'in' and what was 'yesterday'. Thank goodness for Julie our own stylist. She came one evening armed with pictures, catalogues and notes to help me on the way. First we got rid of a few essentials which were apparently not 'me' then looked at what was left in the wardrobe and what was needed to bring it up to date. With a little shopping list, I went to have a look on the web and ordered my first new clothes. Very exciting as for many years I have not bought anything at all. While still waiting for them to be delivered, I went to my favorite local shops and bought the first 3 items on the list. Nearly there... still looking for some suitable shoes and I should be set up for the next year at least. With my new hairstyle, provided by Loreen I feel an all the getter 'hipper' person. Many thanks to both Julie and Loreen.
