Thanks to Jane, who lent me a piece of muslin for jelly making. I have made some chili apple jelly, which is lovely and clear, as you can see from the picture. A few months ago, we had ham sandwiches with chili apple jelly in a little cafe in the Cotswolds, and I was on a mission to make my own! I used apples donated by someone at work who brought in bucket loads, and it tastes pretty good with a bit of a kick. If anyone wants me to make a couple of jars for a gem, I still have apples to use up. And I've now bought my own muslin from the Vic Market, as suggested by someone else on the Skills Exchange.
