It is not difficult to make people happy..

With an abundance of vegetables and time on my hand as my boys have now flown the nest, it seemed a nice way of helping others who don't have the time and energy to make some food.
I enjoyed growing, harvesting and making the food but the icing on the cake are the little messages of appreciation. Thank you all for letting me know that my efforts have made a difference:

My mum is unwell, so all is very unsettled in our family
Dad and I were going to visit Mum this afternoon but Dad has said he doesn’t feel up to anything.. the promise of cheese scones really did cheer him up though.. thought you’d like to know. So I’ll visit Mum and then visit Dad with scones and some soup..

The soup was lovely! I shared it with my friend who came for lunch. my daughter
came home early from school & the soup was just what she needed before
taking to her bed. The salad & scones were great too!

Today I looked after my baby grandson and was too tired cook. Your meal deal sounded so nice so I was pleased to hear that you could make it for me. I ate it a few hours after you dropped it off.
I have just come back from holiday and had some fantastic meals, but this was better than anything I had during that week. Thank you. T

The soup and scones were a huge success - voted 10 out of 10. A
