Just a brief note to thank you so much for the brilliant cleaning work you did last Wednesday.
When "Da Boss" managed to struggle downstairs later on that day she was thrilled with all that you had done - so many thanks indeed. In fact Jan was so impressed that she wondered if you would be able to do the same thing again - but this time in the dining room. That way we will be suitably ready for Christmas and we can tick another item off the list of pre festivity chores!
On a personal note I think that I am the real winner anyway, not only did I manage to demonstrate the benefits of the Skills Exchange to a non believer, but won her over to the concept that there are a huge number of things that are often taken for granted but which become extremely valuable (ie cleaning when your back is twisted) and so everyone has skills a that are valuable to others. The icing on the cake was that I now have another selection of CDs that I can add to the playlist on my ipod. Not only does that save money, but it also serves as a superb reminder of the times when I bought them and all the pleasure they have brought me.So it is a HUGE thank you to both of you - another clear example of the benefits of being in the Skills Exchange!
Mike
