Wednesday 3rd December we were all invited to a cup of coffee and cakes at Barbara's.
We were welcomed by the scent of lovely home made biscuits and cakes, greeted by Henry the dog and for some of us by the sound of music.

Sharon had come armed with a guitar and very kindly played and sang some wonderful music (which she had written herself). It was so good that Margit decided then and there to have Sharon around one evening to play some more of her songs.

Apart from it being sociable to meet up this way, a lot of trades were set up.

Margit mentioned that she would love to have some fresh eggs, as it so happened she is around during the Christmas holidays whilst we are away so a straight swap was done and we are both over the moon.

Sally is going to make a birthday cake for my eldest son 18th Birthday, so it was good to talk through the ins and outs. I can bake cakes, but I am not nearly as creative as Sally so this is a great treat for us all.

Tomorrow, Sharon, Catherine and I are going to do a group cleaning session at Mike's. He has done so many therapeutic treatments that he has got enough Gems to have a pre Christmas deep cleaning session.

On the way out, 3 members got lined up for one of Barbara's amazing treatments.
So as you can see, these meetings are not just sociable and a way to get to know each other, it is a brilliant way to let those Gems shine!
